Why should I attend?

Photo by Inzmam Khan on Pexels.com
  • Because people in our world are facing numerous troubles already and also stand to be judged by God on the last day
  • Because God has called us to help the people around us
  • Because God may be calling you to greater involvement in his mission, and the follow-up material is a unique opportunity to be equipped for it
  • Because you will grow and benefit from the seminar regardless of whether you are ready to sign up for follow-up equipping

Features of the Follow-up Training

(Individual study and preparation in advance and then meet with others to discuss what you learned; discussions on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall)

  • Thirteen weeks of videos, written materials, active learning, applications, small group discussion, prayer
  • Strong support and encouragement from fellow Christians who will also be participating in the training.
  • Simple, buildable steps toward actual involvement in God’s mission, without expecting you to do anything weird or inappropriate
  • Balanced between God’s role in his mission and ours and also between good deeds, good news, and good teaching
  • Exercises that are appropriately challenging in light of the pervasive power of the Enemy, the extreme importance of God’s mission, and our urgent need for equipping
